Sufferlandria is taking over Rockport Rampage!

The minions from Sufferlandria have committed to push the 4th place finisher in each category into the deepest darks lands of Sufferlandria! Each person finishing in 4th position per category will receive a code for a training video from SufferFest

Rockport City Park- Course

So, I have uploaded some photo's of the Rockport City Park and portions to be used for the course. Hopefully this can allow everyone some time to think about what they would like to see and do before the course design and layout on November 24th.

Rockport City Park

Fairground Dr. Rockport, Indiana

Course Layout

The course will be inside of the Rockport City Park.

Essentially everything inside the yellow circle is useable space. The parks board will be meeting this coming week to discuss areas inside this circle that they want to protect from bicycle traffic but there is a good selection of very small rolling hills, some slight elevation change, and change in terrain. It may not be easy to see from this arial map but it is there.

We need mobile barriers, so we are looking at ideas such as logs, 12-24" hurdles, sand pit, and etc. If anyone would like to make suggestions feel free to email garybbentley@gmail.com


November 24th @ 1pm, we will be riding the park, working on course ideas and testing the waters. If you would like to help lay out the course and ride around the park feel free to come out!

Bluff City Cycling presents: Rockport Rampage-Winter Cyclocross Series

Rockport Rampage, a grass roots winter cyclocross series held at the Rockport City Park in Rockport, Indiana. Series kicks off January 19th.

Registration at 10AM
Pre-Ride Course until 11:30AM
Races begin at 12PM

$25 Entry for Men's, Women's, and Junior's
$FREE Entry for kid's fun races

$50-Two Adult Entry's and one Junior, each additional Junior only $15
$30 Cash Sprint Race-2 Laps-100% Payout

Classes:
Men and Women's Elite- 30 min.
Men and Women's Intermediate- 25 min.
Men and Women's Beginner- 15 min.
Men and Women's Single Speed- 25 min.
Junior's Advanced- 25 min.
Junior's Beginner- 15 min.

Free Class-Relay Event- One Lap Per Person, with teams of two
Free Class-Cruiser, Hybrid, Cargo Bike, Antique- One Lap
